  7. Please note that EGSShow 1.1 reads only valid IFF ILBM files.
  8. This does not include IFF RGBn and other formats. However,
  9. EGSShow 1.1 supports EHB, HAM6, HAM8 and IFF24. For IFF24,
  10. please note that the standard plane ordering is used; the
  11. NewTek plane ordering is not supported.

  15. Concerning the file PlaneMap24.class:
  16.  
  17. If you encounter excessive loading time for IFF24 files such
  18. as produced by the EGS demo program Planeteer, you should
  19. try to replace your file "PlaneMap24.class" in the directory
  20. "EGS:EGSClasses" with the file supplied here. Otherwise,
  21. ignore this PlaneMap24.class.
